Is IPTV better than satellite or cable?
It depends on your home. IPTV needs no dish or engineer, works on phones and tablets as well as TVs and usually has shorter commitments. Satellite, cable and Freeview do not rely on your broadband or Wi-Fi. Many UK homes use both.
Most UK homes still watch at least some TV through an aerial, dish or cable. Streaming over broadband is a different approach, with its own strengths and trade-offs.

- Freeview is free to receive (a TV licence is still required for live TV in the UK).
- Picture does not depend on home Wi-Fi.
Can I use both?
Yes – plenty of households keep Freeview for the main channels and stream everything else. The two sit happily side by side on the same TV.
